The Dress Code is used to promote a safe and respectful learning environment while still allowing all community members creativity and self-expression.  Ultimately, all attire and clothing worn by CNHS students during school time and school activities should not…

  • Disturb

  • Distract

  • Disobey rules or laws

  • Disrespect self and/or others 

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES:

Do not wear clothing that negatively represents you by showing messages or images of hate speech, violence, drugs, weapons, alcohol, contraband or anything sexual. 

  • Students should wear clothes that adequately cover themselves.

  • Students should wear clothes that are not see-through clothing.

  • Do Not Wear Hoods

  • MASKS must be worn in compliance with state and city regulations

CONSEQUENCES FOR DRESS CODE VIOLATIONS:

  • Students are asked to change their clothing.

  • Parents/guardians will be contacted to bring the child appropriate clothing.

  • If the parent/guardian is unreachable and the appropriate clothing is not available the student will be sent home to change and asked to return.

  • If it is not possible to contact a parent the student must complete work that is collected out of the general student population.
